Vacation rental app
•I started to prepare this project with an entrepreneurial approach. There was no brief because you need to prioritize that the important thing is not the visual output. PURPOSE : to increase the profit.
•To convey the way I handle the process rather than the visual output that should be prioritized inthe process. Even increasing and ensuring the use of a feature in the process allows the company to increase its earnings. This feature even increases the income of the host in a “mutualist” way.
•Airbnb does not share metrics with hosts. Hosts improve their processes through trial and error. How many of the stays in Izmir are 1, 2, 3, 5 days or 1 week does not reach the hosts. This makes it difficult for hosts to make decisions on price and efficiency processes.
Izmir province is used as a transit point for most of the hosts. In the process, most activities here are planned by asking the hosts. So, the number of days to stay can be flexible according to the host price. But the host can not take advantage of this flexibility with their price policies.
1- User ; Select trip destination , number of person , price range , trip time , destination of the house , room number , check score and review , Room facilities
2- Reservation Phase , user sent a reservation . , or ask some question about dates , discount , extraordinary situation (baby essential , extra person, special request )
3- Host get the reservation request .
4- Accept or reject And giving secondary info. ( Transportation etc. )
5- Host set the calendar for reservation dates.
Hosts use multiple “vacation rental” app . This creates a compete. because this feature feeds the mutualist: host earn more with the same effort. And Airbnb earns more.
And the guest gets a better service for the same money.
